Spiritual Journey
Ishwari is the spiritual name given to me by my teacher Yogi Vishvketu with whom I studied Akhanda Yoga in 2007. The name Ishwari, meaning “Goddess” and more specifically “Goddess of Consciousness,” serves as a reminder of my higher purpose.
Becoming a yoga teacher is something I have aspired to for many years, the path to which began in the winter of 2003 when I left Vancouver, travelling to Mexico, across Canada, Europe and the Caribbean, eventually leading me home, to Ottawa where I now reside.
An avid journaller & photographer I have documented my journey over the past four years sharing on the following sites.

I invite you to peruse my photos, exploration, growth, adventures and experience.
I could not have done this without my friends, family and community and wish to express my gratefulness to all my teachers – every single one of you.
With love,
Tatiana Ishwari

See what students are saying:
“Honestly I didn't think I would like Yoga. I thought I was too high-strung for it; I was afraid of being an outcast among the hardcore yogamites! Happily, Tatiana is such a chill, open, honest, and quirky teacher I didn't, for one moment, feel out of place. I leave every class with Tatiana feeling like I just gave myself a gift!”

“I have found the classes delightful as well as getting me on the road to stretching in ways I never thought of nor that I thought were possible.”
